Providing education to children studying in
ZP Schools & Aanganwadis
Excel supports the Special Educational Program initiated by Gram Panchayats in Sukali and Sawangi, Hingna Nagpur. This CSR initiative enhances students’ skills in communication, creativity, collaborative learning, digital education, and more.
The program includes career counseling, Quality Circle Time, music, drama, summer camps, and a Mobile Library Project. Excel funds professional charges for teachers, payments to non-teaching staff, and educational materials.
Over 450 students have benefitted, gaining improved educational resources and skill development opportunities.
Excel’s involvement highlights its commitment to education in these communities.
Providing education to children from
Tribal Areas
Excel proudly supports the Earth Focus Foundation, a Section 8 Company dedicated to educating Aanganwadi and primary school children from tribal communities near Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh.
This CSR initiative aims to promote education and empower forest-dwelling communities through contextual learning and sustainable livelihoods. Key activities include creating “Anand Ghars” for activity-based learning, developing a biodiversity curriculum based on Kanha’s unique ecology, and engaging the community by hiring and training Shiksha Preraks as full-time educators. Additionally, Mata Samitis sessions help foster a supportive learning environment at home.
Over 300 students have benefitted from these efforts, receiving quality education that is both relevant and engaging. Excel involvement underscores its commitment to improving educational opportunities for tribal communities around Kanha.
Providing education to children of
Nomadic Communities From Rural Areas
Excel is proud to support the Caring Mitra Foundation, which focuses on social and environmental well-being. Through the Learning Companions project, the foundation provides quality education to children from nomadic communities in rural Nagpur.
Excel helps by deploying 13 Fellows to teach and by engaging 16 community leaders who are assisting at seven learning centers and a new pilot school. This initiative aims to empower children from the nomadic Bharwad and Pardhi communities through education and capacity building. A key aspect of the program is the Riyazghar Pilot Project, which offers a school and hostel for children from 5th grade onwards. This facility provides a regular curriculum along with specialized programs in chess, theatre, robotics, and science.
Over 150 children have benefitted from these efforts, gaining access to quality education and opportunities for personal growth. Excel’s involvement underscores its commitment to creating a brighter future for these communities.
